After Wog became friends with Hops in Wog Makes a Friend, Hops invited Wog to live with him at the Lilypads. Wog agreed and flew his space ship to the Lilypads to live with Hops
One day, when Wog was playing, chatting, jumping and learning how to leap and climb trees, Wog climbed onto a very tall tree. He shouted to Hops. "Hey Hops! This tree is so cool! Do you mind getting me a book?" "No problem" said Hops. Wog was just reading happily and laughing at the funny parts when SNAP! - part of the branch broke! Wog fell down and broke his leg! Hops called 948 and an ambulance arrived to take Wog to the hospital.
To cheer Wog up, Hops brought all sorts of presents to Wog everyday. When Wog was better, he painted a picture on a 9" x 9" piece of plaster cast. It was a picture of Wog and Hops together. To thank Hops, Wog also sent Hops a picture frame, watercolour paints, some small rectangular pieces of plaster cast and a picture of Hops too! The next morning, Hops found a parcel outside his house. He opened it right away and found all the wonderful things Wog had sent him. Hops thanked Wog immediately. Wog was delighted.
